Student Leadership

Edina Unified (previously known as Peer Insights) pairs students with and without special needs in a variety of settings, both academic and social. The ultimate goal of this leadership team is to cultivate authentic, lifelong friendships that will last far beyond their time at South View. 

Equity Team leaders help raise intercultural awareness and build community, while helping students understand their own racial and cultural identity.

Healthy Connection leaders promote healthy choices within our South View Community through schoolwide events and activities that focus on social, emotional, and physical wellness.

South View Environmental Group works to advocate for our school community in making choices that are environmentally conscious and personally healthy.

Spirit Team leaders develop a sense of school pride and an inclusive, positive environment at school.

Student Ambassadors provide community outreach and welcome new families, prospective families, and students.

SVTV Crew brings the latest South View news and happenings to the school community via a live broadcast. These broadcasts foster and showcase student achievements and promote school pride.

W.E.B. (Where Everybody Belongs) leaders mentor and help sixth-graders successfully transition into their new middle school environment.
