Twenty Edina High School seniors have been recognized as Commended Students in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. These students placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test as juniors. Although these students will not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, they are being recognized for their outstanding academic promise
Twelve EHS seniors have been named National Merit Semifinalists in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. The program identifies and honors academically talented high school students and assists them in pursuing higher education.
The Edina Parent Leadership Council will host a School Board Candidate Forum at the Edina Community Center on Tuesday, Oct.11, from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in the Board Room (ECC 348). Entry to the Edina Community Center is at Door 3. Parking is available in the Red Lot and Green Lot. The forum will also be streamed online.
The Edina community is invited to gather for the next One Town, One Family Community Conversation on Thursday, Sept. 22, 5-8 p.m. at the EHS Cafeteria. Participants will continue to build upon the work from the April and June sessions. All are invited to attend regardless of whether you were able to attend the previous sessions.
